DO NOT have access to Early Childhood Education

OUR APPROACH

Children without an education is a fundamental problem within poverty stricken communities, however being able to also provide the amount of Teachers to support a quality yet sustainable learning pathway / education for the children, is critical to the success of any education program.

Dreams For Life was founded to support closing the gap within the global epidemic that is - access to a Quality Education for all Children living in Poverty.

The Team at Dreams for Life realize that the formative early years of a child’s life demand a nurturing environment and attentive care - Early childhood, which spans the period up to 8 years of age, is critical for cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

During these years, a child’s newly developing brain is highly plastic and responsive to change as billions of integrated neural circuits are established through the interaction of genetics, environment and experience. Optimal brain development requires a stimulating environment, adequate nutrients and social interaction with attentive caregivers.

With all of this in mind we developed the "READ FOR LIFE" Education program in order to provide a long term, sustainable education for early childhood aged children covering Language (Bahasa and English), Literacy, Phonics and Numeracy. Together with our "EDUCATOR PROGRAM" initiative we support local teaching skill development to deliver critical sustained educational support to children living in poverty.

As a result our Read for Life Program raises funds for:

  1. Providing Yearly Kindergarten Education for Orphaned Children
  2. Development and Deployment of Vocational Teaching Programs for Communities in Need

Our research shows us that $1.00 p/day is all it costs to support the education of an early age group child living in poverty. That equates to $365.00 to educate 1 x child p/year.

At Dreams for Life, we futher realize that both individuals and organizations alike, ideally wish to see where and how their donations make a difference in the life of a child. As a result we provide a direct beneficiary insights aligning specific organizations or geographies of interest to our donation communities.
